Internal Office Moves: Whether you are moving your office on the same floor or to a different floor, FSG moves offices.
External Office Moves - New Location(s): Moving your office to a new location? Furniture Service Group helps plan, coordinate and oversee office moves based on your needs. We handle it all – tear down, packing, moving, set-up & installation, and garbage removal. Our goal is to make your move as seamless as possible while minimizing downtime.
Onsite Office Reconfiguration: Current set-up need to be changed? FSG does the onsite reconfiguration of office furniture to meet your requirements and can provide guidance on what will work best with what you have.
The key to a successful move starts with our site visit to answer the following questions:
- What is required – internal move, external move, or reconfiguration?
- How many people are involved?
- When is the move required – date/time?
- Do we need to book of elevators?
- Is there anything unique or high value to move? Are there any special instructions?
- Is there anything secured to the building wall? Confirm if we are allowed to move.
- Is everything moving? Confirm what is moving and what is not.
- Does anything need to be disposed of?
- Will you be supplying the moving materials – bins, boxes, labels)?
- We can supply moving materials – when would you need them delivered and picked up after the move?
- Will you have IT personnel or electrician available? Do you need them and when?
- Will there be construction happening when the move is planned?
- Do you have a detailed drawing of the site location if required?
All site visits will include a walk-through to determine what is being moved and the number of moving bins and labels required. For external moves to new locations, we will do a site visit to identify and rectify potential problems prior to the move. We are also available for follow-up meeting closer to your move date if required.
